Dr.ROBERT J. BALCAR

A talented, quality-oriented, and passionate dental professional with over 35 years of experience. Extensive knowledge and experience in family and restorative dentistry with a particular predisposition to implant placement, crown and bridge, cosmetic smile makeovers. I am seeking a practice that would utilize my skills in both patient care and technical expertise as well as dental business operations. I am open to owning a practice again if the right opportunity presents.

DENTAL EXPERIENCE

Solely owned and operated dental practice for 23 years in Holland, Ohio (suburb of Toledo, Ohio).
Started practice from scratch (no patients) in a small town (population of 400,000) using self-obtained seed money.
Built practice on family and restorative dentistry – knowledgeable in all phases.
Added emphasis on cosmetic dentistry, including veneers (also Cerec crown experience).
Extensive experience in the placement and restoration of implant dentistry, including "All on 4" placement, denture, and crown and bridge implant restoration.
Work with anesthesiologists to complete full case implant placements.
Trained in "Clear Correct" ortho aligners.
Strong in comprehensive treatment planning exams, hygiene, emergency, new patient, and non-surgical periodontal treatments.
Specialize in same-day restorative dentistry with a focus on high-quality care and empathy for the patient.
Excellent fixed and removable prosthodontics, working well with elderly edentulous patients, especially with implants.
